“There is a crack, a crack in everything,

that's how the light gets in"

Lyrics - Leonard Cohen, 'Anthem'

I’m Lucy Tiley (Lucy, she/her)- Clinical Psychologist, and owner of Skylight Psychology, founded in 2025. I live and practice on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country in Naarm/Melbourne, and also support individuals living in regional Australia and in remote locations via Telehealth.
Commencing therapy can often coincide with a time when we are feeling our most vulnerable. I feel deeply privileged to do this work, and I always aim to create a calm, grounded space for you, where you can feel safe to come as you are.
I’ve worked across a range of mental health settings for the past six years - involving community outpatient settings, university clinics, private practice, and remote parts of Australia, including working alongside Aboriginal communities in the Central Desert. I now work solely in private practice, following returning from recent years of living, learning, and working on Arrente Country, in Alice Springs (Mparntwe).

Hello, and welcome.

About me:

I provide individual psychological services to adults and young people (17+) experiencing a broad range of challenges - whether that be a relationship breakdown, stress, or abrupt life changes - in addition to working with various mental health difficulties. As I say to my clients, you never have to justify why you are here.
Clients I work with tend to describe feeling overwhelmed and disconnected, or stuck in recurring life patterns that aren't serving them. After working together, they typically describe feeling more empowered, capable and understood.
I am particularly passionate about supporting and advocating for neurodivergent individuals - in particular, working with internalised presentations of autism in women, and supporting mothers who are querying potential traits, following their children receiving a diagnosis. I also help support neurodivergent folk in navigating the internalised ableism and systematic challenges that exist in our society, utilising an affirming and trauma-informed framework.
Outside of work, you can find me connecting with loved ones, enjoying being outdoors in some shape or form, cycling, and playing around with photography (which you'll see snippets of throughout this website).
