Therapeutic style & services
My therapeutic style is described as down-to-earth and warm. The way I practice is built upon values of respect, compassion, and inclusivity, and informed by evidence-based modalities. I take an integrative approach in selecting appropriate interventions in collaboration with each individual's needs and circumstances, whilst encouraging exploration of one's strengths and inner wisdom.
I have experience and training in utilising a range of evidence-based modalities, and tend to also draw from other evidence-based interventions to complement these. You can find these outlined below, to see whether we might be a good fit.
My primary focus in providing treatment is to ensure I am providing affirming, LGBTIQA+ inclusive and trauma-informed care, that fosters a strong therapeutic relationship (which has been identified as the key predictor of therapeutic outcome).
